LIVING BOTANY & ARCHITECTURAL CERAMICS
Cultivating climate-resilient Texas native flora alongside heirloom stoneware hand-thrown for enduring spaces.
Grown for Texas. Crafted by Hand.
Based in Weatherford, Palo Pinto Plants & Pottery Co. brings together resilient regional ecology and small-batch studio craft. We believe what grows in the soil and what holds the roots should work in harmony—pairing hardy, drought-tolerant Texas flora with enduring, functional stoneware.
What We Grow
North Texas weather does not compromise, and neither do our plants. We focus on Texas native perennials, tough specimen grasses, and climate-adapted varieties chosen for deep root systems, provenance, and the stamina to handle 105° summer heat and sudden winter freezes. Alongside our native stock, we cultivate healthy, acclimated indoor tropicals selected for vitality in home and work spaces.
What We Throw
Every vessel from our ceramic studio is individually wheel-thrown and kiln-fired using durable stoneware and Texas clays. Finished in earthy, mineral glazes, our planters are designed from a grower’s perspective—prioritizing proper drainage, thermal protection, and root aeration. A planter shouldn't just look architectural; it needs to keep your plant alive.
